Following rumors coming from Egypt, and following the events of 25th January, on the 27th I decided with other friends to move to Cairo.
We arrived in the morning of Friday 28th. at 11 we settled down in a cheap hotel and we went in the streets. Cairo was silent. The friday prayer was going on. we were not sure if something was really going to happen.
Tahrir Square was heavily controlled by hundreds, maybe thousands of policemen. but beside the mosques the city outside was empty.
in the middle of a road a small group of people is praying. a woman looks at us, she knows why we're here.
in the meantime the prayer finishes and the people immediatly starts shouting those words we were going to listen constantly for the upcoming 15 days: "yaskot yaskot Hosni Mobarak".
