During 2008, Naples found itself facing with a new phenomenon, racial intolerance.
The increasing presence of immigrants, togheter with the strong campaign brought on in Italy by politics and media, generated many episodes of racism that the city had never experienced before.
There's a new and tragic threat today, for the future of the city: xenophobia.
