Born in 1977, he got a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures in 2003. In 2004 he attended a MA as "Director
of Photography/camera operator" in Benevento. He staged at "ARCO 2 Multimedia" -Rome- during 2004/2005
at cinecamera department; during this period he began working as assistant camera operator for several
shortmovies and TV spots (MareNostrum Prod./C&B Productions). Meanwhile he went on improving his skills
on photography; his pictures came to attention of FNAC Italia and he began an exposing tour of his photographic
work "Naples:autobiographic notes" in Italian FNAC galleries:Naples(April/May 2006) - Genoa(Sept./Oct.2006)
He works as theatre light-designer and stage photographer for 'TeatroKarawan' company in Caserta and
'Vesuvioteatro' in Naples.
On May, 2006, he started working on his first reportage project, The Lands of waste, that appeared on the main international magazines and newspapers.
Since Sept.2006 he began collaborating with several magazines and newspapers, in Italy and abroad; his pictures had been published, among others, on Newsweek (USA), Der Spiegel (GER), Internazionale (ITA), L'Espresso (ITA), Le Monde (FRA), GQ France (FRA), DASGLABDET (NOR), GALATEA (SWI), ...
He's actually living between Naples and Jerusalem. in Palestine and Israel he's bringing on many projects; he already realized two reportages, one about Bethlehem (Sept/Oct 2008) and the other about the war in Gaza (Jan 2009).
